BUSINESS ON DOMINION EXCHANGES. DETAILS OF YESTERDAY’S SALES. The following sales were recorded on the Dominion Stock Exchanges yesterday—
GOLD MINING RETURNS. The Argo Gold Dredging Co Ltd. reports a return for the week ended April 1 of 640 z for 125 hours’ work and 12,000 cubic yards. Alexander Mines Ltd. reports the following gold return for March: —Battery department: 180 tons of ore crushed for 119 oz 7dwt of melted gold. Cyanide department: Cleanup for months of February and March equals 650 z 2dwt bullion. Total estimated value £1278. In addition, 51 tons of concentrates were saved, valued at £l9O. In estimating the above values gold has been taken at 150 s a fine ounce.
