PIHA SENSATION
CHARGES AGAINST McKAY AND TALBOT. ACCUSED AGAIN REMANDED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND. This Day. Gordon Robert McKay and Talbot appeared on remand before Mr C. R. Orr Walker. S.M.,' today on charges arising out of the Piha fire. Detective-Sergeant McHugh asked for a further remand till Tuesday. April 18. staling that the case would be proceeded with that day. The Magistrate said that he had arranged for at least two or three days for the hearing. The remand was granted.
