Under the protection given by the import restrictions the Wanganui woollen mills at Arampho has increased its staff. The increases have been about 25 per cent in the mills and 10 per cent in the clothing factory. Wool purchases have increased by 100 per cent this season compared with last. The mill now finds employment for 140 workers. '
