The Japanese continue to hinder foreign shipping in the Yangtze delta and are endeavouring to force all ships tn register with the authorities in order to obtain complete control. Eighteen Japanese planes yesterday bombed Henshang and Hengvang and are reported to have killed 600 civilians.
