LONDON QUOTATIONS. LAMB VALUES TOWER. Messrs Levin & Co., Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated April s:—Frozen meat quotations (prices on a delivered basis, i.e., including storage charges, cartage, market tolls, etc): North Island Down lambs, 28/361bs, 7d; 36/42, 6 5-Bd. Best North Island xbd lambs, 28/36, 63d; 36/42, 61d. North Island 2nd quality lambs av. 30/311bs, 6Jd. Best North Island wether sheep under 481 b, 4 7-8 d; 48/56 4d; 56/64 3Jd; 64/72 3Jd. North Island ewes, under 481bs, 3d; 56/64’s 2Jd; 64/72’s 2£d. N.Z. prime ox beef, 160/220, none offering. Compared with last week’s quotations. Down lamb (36/421bs) is l-8d per lb lower; crossbreed lamb and second quality lamb l-8d per lb lower; wethers 48/561bs, l-8d per lb lower; others unchanged. The spot market is weaker owing to large arrivals. The mutton market is about steady.
