OLD ENGLISH ALPHABET.
It’s as easy as saying your A.B.C.’s —this embroidering of letters and initials on household linens and personal accessories. The pattern includes a large, medium and small alphabet to give you greater variety in your monogramming, and designed all to be done in cutwork (just buttonholing) or satin stitch. Dinner and tea cloths, pillow cases and towels, as well as hankies, bags and blouses, may be adorned in this fashion. The pattern comes to you with a transfer pattern of three complete alphabets in a 1-inch, lij-inch and 2?-inch size, as well as directions for doing cutwork and for correct use of initials. OBTAIN a Postal Note for 1/1 (or stamps if postal note is not procurable), Cut this pattern out and send to “Times-Age” Needlecrafts, Box 445, Masterton. NOTE: The material on which to work this pattern may be obtained from any draper in the Wairarapa.
