CZECH REFUGEES

REFUSED PERMISSION TO STAY IN ENGLAND. WILD BEHAVIOUR THREATENS PLANE’S SAFETY. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON, March 31. Twelve of fourteen Czechs who arrived by a Danish plane from Warsaw yesterday were refused permission to remain in England. They resisted efforts to place them in a plane at Croydon, screaming hysterically, and threatened to jump out in the air. The pilot, declaring that he feared for the plane’s safety, refused to take off. The refugees will be returned by sea.
