WOOL MARKET
LONDON SALES. Messrs Murray, Roberts and Co. Ltd are in receipt of the following wool market cablegram from their London agents, March 30:—Sales have closed firm with competition good. Bradford buyers were the principal operators; but Continental buyers operated freely compared with last London sale’s closing rates. Greasy merino, best descriptions, advanced 5 per cent; greasy merino, other descriptions, market firm; scoured merino market firm; crossbred greasy fine market firm; crossbred greasy coarse to medium, of good lustre and breed, advanced 5 per cent; crossbred coarse to medium, inferior descriptions, par to .5 per cent adcance; crossbred scoured market shows no change; slipe crossbred, par to 5 per cent advance.
