COMPULSORY TRAINING URGED. (By Telegranh—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., This Day. “That the Government be urged to restore compulsory military training and adjust the territorial forces to the 1921 le*el,” was the text of a resolution carried by a large meeting of citizens addressed by the Hon W. Perry, on behalf of the Defence League, after the speaker had stressed the menace of aggression, and the need for preparedness in this Dominion.
