A PIONEERING ACT
GERMAN-RUMANIAN TREATY. DR. FUNK’S VIEWS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 12.15 p.m.) BERLIN, March 30. At the Reichsbank meeting Dr. Funk described the German-Rumanian treaty as a pioneering act, whereby the forces of nature would be mobilised for bringing to the surface Rumania’s natural resources and increasing productive energies ana living standards; also improving Germany’s export possibilities and raw material position. Dn Funk declared: “We will not permit economics to be dependent upon internationally manipulated currency policies.”
He added that Germany was a desirable economic partner and the world economy could not do without her.
