Baron von Neurath, in an article in the “European Review” describing his task as protector of Bohemia and Moravia claims to understand the feelings of the Czech people after their fresh scars and expresses the opinion that they realise they have been unscrupulously misused by powers who were not interested in seeing friendly Czecho-German relations. He appeals for co-operation for his efforts to promote a happier future. Dr. Hacha, in an article, expresses faith in the Fuhrer’s promise of a “happy future for the Czech people if they behave loyally?’
