Over 150 members of the House of Commons have tabled an amendment to Mr Anthony Eden’s motion of March 28. The amendment reads: “This House affirms complete confidence in the Prime Minister and deprecates any attempt at the present critical time to undermine the confidence of the House or the country in the Prime Minister and the Government.” Two signatories of the motion have withdrawn;
