OPERATION AT SEA
NIAGARA DIVERTED FROM COURSE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 12.55 p.m.) SUVA, March 30. A few days out from Suva an engineer on a tanker, Mr W. B. Walker, became seriously ill. A wireless message was sent to the Niagara. His case was diagnosed as acute appendicitis, The Niagara was diverted a hundred miles and the patient was transferred and successfully operated on.
