CANADIAN APPLES
POPULAR IN GREAT BRITAIN. ' OTTAWA. A large proportion of the apples consumed in Great Britain come from. Canada. One of the principal factors ensuring the popularity of Canadian fresh apples is the high standard of the “packs.” The British Ministry of Agriculture in reporting on the inspections of 1938, states that “once again no trace of apple maggot has been found in Canadian apples imported into Great Britain.” _
