SNOW WHITE

THEME OF FRENCH CARNIVAL. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs were present at the Carnival which was held at Aix-en-Provence' on February 11. In fact. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs were the theme of this year’s carnival, and the whole of the procession was inspired by the characters made familiar by Walt Disney. There were thirty floats representing the chief scenes from the film and hundreds of children in costume took part. The carnival at Aix-en-Provence lasted many days, with fancy dress balls, children’s ball, and all sorts of entertainment. The film of Snow White is as popular in France as in England and, indeed, as it must be in every part of the world, and it is almost impossible to find a French child who has not seen “Blanche Neige et les Sept Nains."
