RED STAR FOOTBALL CLUB
ANNUAL MEETING. TEAMS FOR THREE GRADES. Mr A. G. Corskie (president) presided over a large attendance of members at the annual meeting of the Red Star Football Club held at the Foresters’ Hall last night. The report and balance sheet were adopted. The subscriptions were fixed the same as last year, viz., senior, 6s 6d; junior, 4s 6d; thirds. 3s 6d. Correspondence was received from the Masterton Football Club regarding the flood-lighting of the Memorial Park for training, purposes. The following delegates were appointed to attend a meeting of the clubs’ concerned tonight: —Messrs S. Henson, A. Corskie, L. Pearson and A. Paterson. A letter was received from Mr F. Clarke wishing the club success in the season. It was decided that a letter of appreciation of his past services be forwarded to Mr Clarke. It was decided to enter teams in senior, junior and third grades, and subject to the players’ support, a team in the fourths.
The opening of the season was fixed for April 15. when a practice for all grades would be held at Memorial Park.
Members extended to Mr A. G. Corskie the hope that he and Mrs Corskie would have a pleasant trip to England and a safe return. '

Milne; auditor, Mr A. Paterson; club captain, Mr A. Carrig; management committee, Messrs L. Pearson, J. Renner, E. Cross, D. Stewart and W. Peterson; social committee, Messrs E. Cross, L. Grantham, E. Grantham, V. Missen, M. O’Kane. P. Clarke, H. Corlett, B. Osborne, G. Barr, R. Shackleton, W. Green, R. Howard, B. Howard, and V. Pinkney; coaches, senior, Mr D. Stewart; junior, Mr J. Renner; thirds, Mr P. Prescott; delegates to the W.R.U., Messrs L. Pearson, S. Henson and R. Howard.
Nine new members were elected. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the chair.
