ANOTHER FRENCH VILLAGE SWEPT ADDITIONAL CASUALTIES UNKNOWN. DAMAGE ESTIMATED AT £20.000. By Telegraph—Press 'Association —Copyrlgtc (Received This Day, 9.20 a.m.) TOULOUSE, March 26. A fresh avalanche has swept the village of Bareges. Residents on the outskirts lowered forty villagers to safety from top storeys. The additional casualties are unknown, but the damage is estimated at £20,000. Skiers are taking food to 38 isolated workmen." The bodies of thirteen victims of the first avalanche on March 24, have oeen recovered.
