PRODUCTION AND EXPORT. .. OTTAWA. Production of automobiles in Canada in 1938 totalled 166,142 vehicles, of which 125,081 were passenger cars and 41.061 were motor trucks. Production for the domestic market totalled 109,173 vehicles While the number intended for export amounted to 56.970. Exports of motor vehicles during the year numbered 57.909.
