HUNGARIANS DRIVEN BACK IN SLOVAKIA PLANES BOMB VILLAGES. NUMBER OF CASUALTIES UNKNOWN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 1.5 p.m.) BRATISLAVA. March 24. Despite the earlier reports of Hungarian evacuation, a Defence Ministry communique states that after heavy fighting all day between Hungarians and Slovaks, in which planes on both sides participated, the Hungarians were driven back along, the whole front. The Hungarians’ planes bombed villages behind the lines, causing unknown casualties.
