The Chamber adopted an Anti-Jew-ish Bill which curtails Jewish busines: and reduces the proportion of Jews who can be employed in trade and in dustry from twenty per cent to between six and twelve per cent ant makes it practically impossible fo: middle and poor class Jews to earn a livelihood. ACTION IN MEMEL. POSSESSIONS SEQUESTRATED. (Received This Dav. 10.'iO a.m.) MEMEL, March 24. The possessions of Jews are being sequestrated for the establishment of ‘heir value to prevent their being smuggled out of Memel. The Jews are now subjected to similar financial burdens as in Germany. Jewish judges and lawyers have been disbarred. All German laws will be enforced on May 1.
