Mrs H. M. Peacock is the guest of Mrs Archer Hosking, Masterton. Mrs. Ramsden, of Masterton, is staying at Muritai, Wellington. Miss Mary Logan is staying with Mrs J. H. Payton, Mt. Bruce. Miss Meg Davidson, of Masterton, leaves on a holiday trip to Sydney text Tuesday. Mrs Arthur Duncan, Wellington, and formerly of Masterton, leaves for England by the Mataroa tomorrow.

Mr and Mrs Eric Wellwood and family have gone for a seaside holiday to Otaki.

Mrs C. W. Free, of Paraparaumu, is visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs J. P. Perry, Essex Street, Masterton. Mrs Rupert Glendinning, Wairoa, is visiting her parents, Mr and Mrs Baird, Cole Street, Master ton. Mrs J. Murray, of Wanganui, arrived in Carterton yesterday, and is staying with her son, Mr A. T. Murray, High Street. Mr and Mrs H. K. Mclntosh leave Wellington by the Mataroa tomorrow on a trip to England. Mrs Mclntosh Is one of the most popular members of the younger set and has been much entertained before leaving. At the meeting of the Wairarapa College Board of Governors last night the resignation of Miss M. Fraser, Arts and Crafts mistress, was accepted, and it was decided to write to her expressing appreciation of her services.
