FALSE ALARM
FIRE BRIGADE CALLED OUT LAST NIGHT. The Masterton Fire Brigade, received a call to Colombo Road at 9.15 o’clock last night., but on arrival it was found to be a false alarm. Some irresponsible person or persons had broken the street alarm, and made off before the brigade arrived. This is the second false alarm from that area in the past week.
