General situation: Pressure is very uniform over New Zealand but is very high over the Western Tasman; disturbed conditions over the Eastern Tasman. Forecast: Freshening northerly winds changing to southerly by morning; increasing cloud, later becoming unsettled with scattered rain developing; temperatures coolw.
