ALLEGED ILL-TREATMENT. BRITAIN'S REPLY TO JAPAN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. LONDON. March 21. The British Government has replied to a Japanese protest alleging the illtreatment of Japanese at Singapore, stating that the raids were carried out in accordance with the law. and the results showed that certain Japanese nationals intended to engage in activities prejudicial to lhe colonies' seenrity.
