DECAMP EMPTY HANDED
WAIPUKURAU BURGLARS. DISTURBED BY WATCHMAN. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WAIPUKURAU, March 22. About 3.30 o’clock this morning burglars broke into Turner and Butler's garage in the main street. An entrance was gained by breaking the lock of the back door, and an attempt was made to force the lock on the tyre and spare parts storeroom. They were disturbed by the town nightwatchman and decamped empty handed.
