Ottawa. —A letter mailed in Montreal, Canada’s Eastern metropolis, during the afternoon of one day will reach Vancouver’ on the Pacific Coast less than 24 hours later. The same applies for letters mailed in the West. The Trans-Canada Airlines, on March 1, commenced an overnight air-mail serVice between Montreal and Vancouver, with planes making scheduled stops at all large cities between these two points.
