FROM DOMINION MONARCH DISSENSION AND DISCONTENT. NO REASON GIVEN FOR ACTION. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day. 11.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. As the result of dissension and discontent, which existed in the crew’s quarters of the Dominion Monarch since the liner left Southampton, fourteen stewards were dismissed in Sydney. No reason was given by officers or owners for this action, but about sixty stewards held a meeting of protest against their accommodation and the conditions prevailing.
