GREYTOWN SCHOOL
ANNUAL SPORTS GATHERING INTERHOUSE AND OTHER COMPETITIONS. COMPLETE LIST OF AWARDS. ("Times-Age” Special.) Glorious weather favoured the holding of the Greytown School sports, which were decided at the school grounds on Monday afternoon. There was a good attendance of parents and friends among whom were many members of the committee and Mr Ben Roberts, M.P. Interest was considerably heightened by the interhouse competition and the organisation was assisted by the use of a loud speaker. The interhouse competition resulted as follows: —Kiwi, 106 points, 1; Moa, 105 J points, 2; Tui, 103 J points, 3; and Huia, 79 points, 4. The jumping championships. which are still to be run off, along with some novelty events, are likely to affect these placings. Gratitude, is expressed to the School Committee and the W.F.C.A. for the donation of sweets which were distributed among the pupils of the lower classes. The officials Were: — Mr G. S.
