SWEPT OFF ROCKS
FISHERMAN DROWNED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) NEW PLYMOUTH. March 19. Swept off the rocks at the mouth of the Oakura River while gathering mussels for bait, Mr Henry Sears, married, about 37, was drowned this afternoon. Striking a rock when he fell, Mr Sears was apparently knocked unconscious and was not noticed for several minutes. Resuscitate efforts by several life-savers and Dr F. W. W.
