At the wool sales 8698 bales were offered, including 4548 New Zealand and 7590 were sold. A good selection met active competition and a good clearance was effected at steady rates. New Zealand greasy halfbred Strathccnan realised lOd and ll’d; ditto crossbred, 9',d and 10.’.d. Slipe halfbred lambs, HBMC Block TES 12d and 13Jd. '
