REPORTED SUNK
FRENCH CARGO STEAMER. LOSS OF ALL HANDS FEARED. (Independent Cable Service.) ALGIERS, March 17. It is feared that the French freighter St Prosper, which left Algiers on March 6 for Marseilles. was, sunk during a storm and that the crew of 33 were drowned. The wreckage of a lifeboat and a bloodstained lifebelt marked with the ship’s name were washed up on the beach at Tenes.
