DENTAL CLINIC

MEETING OF MASTERTON COMMITTEE. FINANCIAL POSITION. The chairman, Mr A. Donald, presided at a meeting of the Masterton Dental Clinic Committee, held last night. The secretary reported a credit balance of £2B 12s 3d. A sum of £4l 12s. however, was due to the Trust Lands Trust for rent up to March 31, while £4s.was owing to the Department of Health for nurses’ salaries. to the end of March. Accounts had been forwarded to parents almost immediately and it was hoped that parents would fulfil their obligations so that a considerable reduction in the amounts owing could be made by the end of the month. It was decided to hold a general meeting of all school committees in April to again review the position of the clinic.

The secretary. Mr W. V. Madden, tendered his resignation and it was decided that it take effect from the date of the next general meeting in April.
