LAST NIGHT’S DANCE GATHERING IN MUNICIPAL HALL. The dance held in the Municipal Hall last evening proved a very happy occasion. Udy's and Te Tail’s orchestras supplied the music and the M.C. was Mr C. Dahlberg. The novplty dances were much enjoyed, the winners of the Lucky Spot contest being Miss Newman and Mr Ivan Nielsen, and of the, Monte Carlo competition. Miss Russell and Mr Jaspers. An exhibition dance by Miss Holmwood's pupils was greatly appreciated. Under the direction of an able ladies’ committee the supper arrangements were all that could be desired. Considerable credit is due Mr R. Foster, as organiser and thanks are expressed also to those who assisted at the doors'.
