GOLD MINING RETURNS. The Argo Dredge, for the week endued March 11, returned 660 z. for 130 hours from 12,500 yards. Talisman Dubbo advise that for the fortnight ended March 4, 173 tons of ore realised £285, gold being valued at £7 12/- an ounce.
The Mataki Junction return for the week ended March 9 was 41oz. of smelted gold for 123 hours’ work, and 17,000 yards dredged.
