JUSTICES CONFER
GATHERING AT TIMARU. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) TIMARU,. March 14. About thirty justices of the peace are attending the annual conference of the New Zealand Justices’ Federation, which was opened by the Minister, of Justice (the Hon. H. G. R. Mason) at Caroline Bay this afternoon. A welcome was extended to the delegates by the Mayor, Mr W. G. Tweedy, Mr H. Morgan, S.M., and Mr J. M. Jenkin, patron and president of the South Canterbury Association respectively. Mr W. C. Weston, New Plymouth, is presiding. The conference will conclude on Thursday.
