An enjoyable time was spent at the residence of Mr O. Andersen, Kahutara Road, on Saturday evening, the occasion being the celebration of Mr Cyril Binsted’s twenty-first birthday. An interesting feature in connection with the gathering was that it was also the birthdays of Misses Gwen Crawley and Coral Andersen. A number of friends and relatives were present. Games were played and a happy time was spent. The usual toasts were honoured and congratulations extended to those whose birthdays had been celebrated.
