RADIO TRANSMITTERS
MfeETING OF MASTERTON BRANCH. INCREASE IN MEMBERSHIP. Mr C. R. Dahlberg presided over a ■jood attendance of members at the ortnightly meeting of the Masterton jranch of. the New Zealand Associa:ion of Radio Transmitters, held at the flub rooms last evening. Two new members were enrolled, md intending members are advised to ioin while the opportunity offers. An enjoyable social evening was reld on Saturday, and was the most successful yet held by the club. Such social gatherings are to receive great;r consideration in the future.
The branch will hold a Jield day on Sunday next al Mt. Holdsworth. Portible radio apparatus is to be taken >ut ,and communication will be made vith the base station in Masterton. Members obtain valuable experience .’rom such outings. In conjunction with the Martinborjugh branch, the Masterton Club expects to represent Wairarapa at a leld day to be held shortly in Palnerston North.
A number of important matters were liscussed, after which the meeting joncluded with a vote of thanks to the chair.
