MASTERTON CLUB. INTERCHANGE OF VISITS. At a meeting of the committee of the Masterton Bowling Club, held last night, it was decided to invite the Carterton members to participate in an inter-club game on Saturday next, play to commence at 1.30 p.m. on the Masterton Club’s greens. A vote of thanks was accorded to Mr H. Thomas for his donation of a lamb as the prize for the tournament to be held on Easter Monday. A discussion took place in regard to games between neighbouring clubs, and the committee decided to issue invitations for the exchange of visits. During the week-end, teams from the Masterton Soldiers’ Club will pay a visit to the Masterton green, and good games are anticipated. It was decided to arrange for socials to be held during the winter months, and a sub-committee was appointed, consisting of Messrs Gooding, Hayne and Watson, with power to add from club members.
