At informal weekend meetings between the British and Jewish representatives, a Jewish memorandum of reply to the British suggestions was discussed. The newspapers state that the memorandum contains counterproposals and asks for an assurance that full safeguards will be given in the British plan for the future development of the Jewish national home. TWO JEWS KILLED LAND-MINE EXPLOSION. (Received This Day, 10 a.m.) HAIFA, March 13. Two Jews were killed and one seriously injured in a land-mine explosion south of Haifa.
