FALL FROM MOTOR CAR

CHILD DIES FROM INJURIES.

(Ey Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 12.

Elizabeth Shore, the two-year-old daughter of Mr and Mrs E. T. Shore, Kaiapohin, received injuries which proved fatal when she fell out of a motor-car driven by her father. Mr Shore was returning to his home with his infant son in the front seat of the car and other children in the back. About six miles from Christchurch, along Marshlands Road, a back door of the car swung open and the child fell out on to the road. A doctor was called and at first it was thought that the child was not seriously injured, but she was later sent to Christchurch Hospital, where an operation was performed. She later died.
