Qrange district, in which their car had stalled, suddenly became flooded- Those missing are Mrs Gordon, her daughter and her son’s daughter. Two other daughters and a woman friend were saved by a farmer who was trying to tow the car out of the creek when a cloudburst and a sudden torrent carried the car down creek.
