Painter, the last of the New Zealand representatives, was eliminated from the under twenty-one singles in the age championships at the White City. R. Barnes defeated Painter, 8/10, 6/1, 8/6.
In the under seventeen singles, McKenzie (New Zealand) defeated K. Walker. 6/0. but in a later round was defeated by H. Impey, 6/4.
