CHALLENGES FOR VAUGHAN . BUTTONS.
In a match for the Vaughan Buttons (B grade) C. Welch and G. Buick of the Mt Bruce Tennis Club, successfully challenged the holders, C. Jensen and H. Parker, of the Carrington Park Club, the challengers winning 6/5, 3/6, 6/5. Welch and Buick defended the trophies against H. Volheim and I. Hills, of the Kuripuni Club, whom they defeated 4/6. 6/2, 6/3.
