THRESHING MILL FIRE

HEAVY LOSS IN MARLBOROUGH. (By Tel ■'graph—Press Association ) BLENHEIM, This Day. Less than an hour after work had ceased on a threshing mill at Mrs Ada Redwood’s farm at Spring Creek last evening, the mill, a hundred bags of barley and a straw stack were found ablaze. Helpers dragged an £BOO tractor and a £4OO mill away from the stack. The mill was extinguished after being extensively damaged and a proportion of the barley was salvaged. There were no insurances.
