RIFLE SHOOTING
TEAMS MATCH AT NATIONAL MEETING. GREYTOWN IN SECOND PLACE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) TRENTHAM, This Day. Shooting by teams took place at the National Rifle Meeting at Trentham this morning. Seven rounds were fired at 300, 500 and 600 yards, by teams of five men. The highest aggregate score was made by Ashburton, with 505 points. The members of the winning team were H. A. Cromie, 103; L. T. McNatty, 98; M. Holland, 103; J. Bishop, 101; H. J. Donne, 100. They take the District Challenge Shield, five miniature cups and £l2. Second place was obtained by. the Greytown team, with 501 points and Auckland City A was third, with 500 points.
