ANNUAL AUTUMN FLOWER SHOW MASTERTON HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY. OPENED BY MRS KNOX GILMER. The Masterton Municipal Hall was a riot of colour today on the occasion of the Masterton Horticultural and Industrial Society’s annual Autumn Show. In spite of the dry season, entries are fifty per cent better than last year and the quality of the beautiful blooms is excellent. The Show was officially opened this afternoon by Mrs Knox Gilmer, of Wellington, and later Lord Nuffield presented special prizes. There was a large, attendance of the public during the afternoon.
