The Australian High Commissioner (Mi- S. M. Bruce) warned leaders of the dairying industry that Australia would not hr- able to keep up a continuous expansion of her butter export. trade with England. Mr Bruce said that although there did not appear to be any likelihood at present of Britain restricting imports of butter from Australia, she might do so if there were any large expansion.
