SURPLUS SUGAR
MARKETING PROBLEM IN QUEENSLAND. PRODUCTION SHOWS HEAVY INCREASE. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received This Day, 11.0 a.m.) . BRISBANE, This Day. Fears that an excessive production of sugar in Australia may soon make it difficult for growers to dispose of their surplus were expressed at the annual conference of the Australian Sugar Producers’ Association. The annual report said it was estimated that, production would be 12,000 to 15,000 tons in excess of the production of last year.
