EMPTY PISTOL
POSTED TO SCOTLAND YARD. ABUSIVE AND THREATENING MESSAGE. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright. (Received This Day, 10.50 a.m.) LONDON. March 6. A parcel at the Crickelwood sorting office, addressed to Scotland Yard, was found to contain a heavy unloaded revolver. Attached to it was a note reading: “Use this on yourselves and save the I.R.A. trouble, for they'll get you.”
