TROUBLE OVER SEPARATIST TENDENCIES. ATTACKS ON CATHOLIC PRIESTS & JEWS. By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright LONDON, March 5. ’ The Prague correspondent of “The Times” says that tension is growing between Prague and Bratislava, capital of Slovakia, but the temporarily interrupted negotiations are to be resumed tomorrow. Meanwhile, the Slovak separatist tendencies, which Germany is believed to support, retard consolidation of the republic, upon which Herr Hitler insists as a preliminary to guaranteeing the Czecho-Slovak frontiers. The Hlinka Guard, which is regarded as the nucleus of the Slovak army, mishandled Catholic priests and ransacked Jewish shops in the health resort of Pistany today.
